Sunrise Pinnacle, Northern New Mexico

Leaf Corporation had lent me an 80MP back in contemplation of purchase, which I did not do, for my Hasselblad 500Cm camera body. So I drove to Santa Fe and stayed in the home of a good friend, and both of us drove to an undisclosed location north of Santa Fe. It was early February, and it wasn't just cold, it was dang cold! It had snowed just a small amount but the storm had broken and the skies were outrageous. One of those things that happen if you hold your mouth right. We left his house in my Bronco to be at this location pre-sunrise, and it worked out to be just right for me to catch the first rays of sunlight kissing the face of the pinnacle with an interesting sky. I used a Hasselblad 500 Cm, the best optical system ever made - BTW, with a 50mm Sonnar and the Leaf 80mp digital back. In all honesty, and IMHO, it offered no particular advantage over my Canon 6D in terms of tonality or image sharpness or image contrast. Certainly not worth the $28K price tag.
