Every spring these bushes are out in profusion. The blossoms look more like an orchid of some kind more than they do a willow, they are fragrant, beautiful, delicate and not around for very long. It seems like the very nasty heat we have seem to melt them, but Honey bees love them.
I did not use a camera in the creation of this image, rather I used my Epson V750Pro do the exposing and then do the editing in Photoshop. So the scanned image is life size to the original plant. I have experimented with this process from using the flowers to make a color photogram using color process paper to using my scanner.
My favorite flowering tree/shrubbery in the SW desert. Nicely one.
