Moonscape Morning

I was out hiking in an area in southern Utah very early in the morning. Just after the sun came up sunlight came streaming in across these stone structures. It was still pretty cool in the early sunrise, a few hours later it was extremely hot; even dangerously hot. I was happy to get back to my camp and spend time in the shade of my truck before driving out. I used a Canon 6D, a 17-40mm lens. The conversion to black and white was done using Photoshop only.
