Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Gathering

Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Gathering

So apparently "gathering" seemed to scare away some people since we only seemed to gather about 20 percent as many entries as we have last week. Luckily, the quality of the entries was right on par with the previous themes delivering yet another great top 10 list.

I hope everyone who cared to watch the Super Bowl enjoyed the game. For those that don't partake in the tradition, I can tell you it is really more than watching football. Friends, family, and sometimes even strangers, get together for the event. There is usually way too much food, which often makes it hard for me to stay awake with my borderline narcoleptic tendencies. Although I guess it could also be the selection of fine beers.

If nothing else, at the end of the day it is always a wonderful excuse to gather with loved ones and laugh at grotesquely overpriced commercials. I was a little surprised there weren't any football looking photos submitted, but I don't think it mattered much. This list is another keeper. I hope you think so too.

Black and white photos always seem perfect for street scenes. I love the hustle and determination of pigeons in a group like this. They always seem to be very confident in what they are doing. Great job with the composition and processing here, Godfrey.
