Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Work

Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Work

All work and no play makes people crazy. I think there was a movie about that once. Luckily looking at these photos of people doing work requires very little effort at all and will help you ease into your weekend properly.

They say if you enjoy your job enough then you don't work a day in your life. Apparently, whoever this "they" person says a lot of silly things to get attention.

Photos of people doing work resonate differently with everyone depending on their own personal experiences. I really like the shots that show the real side of the workers. Tired and dirty faces, like a coal worker for example, really evoke emotion from the viewer. Even those of us in technical fields who may never get even a speck of dirt can relate.

I hope you enjoy this week's selections. I put a lot of work into them.

1. David Hassler

This guy is feeling it. He has clearly been at this job for a bit and is completely in the zone. The tight crop really fills the frame with the struggle of bearing the heavy sack he is carrying. Awesome shot and a perfect choice for the "work" theme. Congrats, Hassler.

What Is This Week's Theme and How Do I Enter?

The weather has been awesome in my neck of the woods lately. Last night we played Frisbee in the backyard until we couldn't see it enough to catch anymore. This was after a full soccer practice. It felt great and we all slept like babies. What does "play" mean to you? Show us your playground. The sky should be the limits of this theme. Whether your specialty is parkour, sports, music, animals, fashion, food, or toys; there should be a fit for you this week.

Play

To enter, simply use the hashtag #weeklyFstopPlay on any public Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr post between now and our next weeklyFstop article. Please keep it to one entry per week to keep it fair and less cluttered.
