In general this is a simple natural light shot of beautiful model Aubry who has long twisted curls in her hair. I was able to make a comfortable scene for her to model at by setting up a platform at window height at my studio's corner window. The set is surrounded by white and silver Foamcor reflectors to control the shadows.
Numerous images from the setting were satisfying, but this particular image captures the model's spirit. I used a medium shutter speed to show the action of the hair while keeping detail in her face. The image was captured with a Nikon D800 using the Zeiss 55mm f1.5 Otus lens.
