A photo I created for The Bike Bar of Ithaca. Jake Sheet does a hop barspin on the bar top while others look on.
I spent a bout 2 week organizing this photo. From scouting the spot to getting a rider and a back up rider.
The clothing was picked out and position of people for both look and safety.
The lighting was pretty complex with so many subjects, yet the need to focus on specific subjects.
This is obviously a very planned out photo. Because ya know, there's always a bmx bike on your bar right? Haha
Really the only thing that I didn't have my hand in is the hair and makeup.
But in a way that's what I wanted. It's bmx, it's a bar. Everyone really looked the way I thought would be best as far as those things go.
