Though we often think of Photoshop as the place to edit images, you can accomplish quite a bit in Lightroom, particularly in the newest versions with their advanced masking features, and it is much more convenient to finish a shot in the same place you catalog it. If you are newer to editing, the thing to remember is that less is more. It can be easy to overdo it, particularly with things like color saturation.
