The Passage Verdeau in the Grands Boulevards district bears the name of its creator. Built in 1847, it is one of the most charming covered passages in the capital. It is located in the extension of two other well-known passages: Panoramas and Jouffroy. All three places form an original place to stroll. Numerous antique dealers and unusual boutiques (old books, old postcards, collectible cameras, etc.) have set up shop in the Passage Verdeau. Visitors' eyes are drawn to the beautiful shop windows, which are flooded with light thanks to the high herringbone glass roof. The second entrance to the arcade is located at 31 bis Rue du Faubourg Montmartre. The nearest metro station is Grands Boulevards (lines M8 and M9).
