Today, Nikon announced three new lenses targeting different users. The new AF-S 28mm f1.4E ED was highly expected this year. Also, Nikon is finally out with its first FX zoom fish-eye lens, the 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED, and the AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR wide-angle lens for DX users.
In the run-up to some big upcoming changes, Capture One has announced that they will be dropping their single brand versions of Capture One. Current users of these variants of Capture One 22 will be offered a free upgrade to Capture One Pro 22 or will be offered the standard upgrade pricing for those still using the previous version of Capture One.

The next version of Luminar, called Luminar 4, will include a one-click sky replacement feature. Other photo editors can get it done, but it usually involves masking, and it often doesn't work very well with foreground objects like trees with a lot of leaves. We stumbled onto this video that points out the biggest issue with the Nikon D600 right now: the dust accumulation. Big news in the world of Fuji today. They’ve just announced the release of two new models - the mid range mirrorless, interchangeable lens 16.3 megapixel APS-C sensor XE-2, which replaces the XE-1. The also announced the compact point and shoot XQ1, which supersedes the XF1. Both cameras are available for pre-order now and will be shipping next month, in November.
All great timelapses typically take a long time to produce and this piece is no exception. Justin Majeczky spent over 18 months on this project scouting locations, exploring angles, and taking over 20,000 photos for his Sacramento timelapse.
