Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Outdoors

Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Outdoors

There is nothing better than finally starting to get outdoors after a season of being cooped up inside. Our readers showed us their version of outdoors in the latest installment of our ongoing weekly photo theme. Check out the results and grab this week's theme to join in.

The first weekend of good weather for our family always means yard cleanup. Sticks and leftover leaves are removed to make way for a fresh lawn. The garage toys and games are unearthed and reintroduced to the kids. Our basketball net gets erected and filled with water once again, ready to provide hours of fun for our boys.

This also meant I was pretty darn busy and barely touched a camera other than to continue the spring cleaning and organize the gear as well. I am proud to say all of our Canon batteries and a few dozen rechargeable batteries are accounted for, full, and ready for action. Luckily for you, our readers were busy with their cameras and submitted some great shots, once again resulting in this praise-worthy list.

This simple shot of someone breathing in the fresh air captures a moment we all love. The glow and the look of absolute relief on her face are comforting to look at. Congratulations, Ryan and thank you for supporting the theme.

What Is This Week's Theme and How Do I Enter?

Where there is light, there are shadows. Photographing and learning to work with shadows can seriously improve your photography. They come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, they even hold secrets you can't see any other way and may only be visible at a certain time of day. Special bonus for anyone who can pull off something tricky like that. Please join in and show off your shadow-play skills this week.

Shadows
