As a company, Leica Camera is one of the more reserved brands. They understand their respective market and also understand what kind of cameras appeal to their customer base. Whenever a new iPhone is released, we start to see comparisons being made against "proper" cameras. The Eyemore S1 was supposed to be the next big thing in mobile filmmaking. Instead, it's one of the worst video cameras I've ever tested.  

Normally, when a product doesn't live up to consumers' expectations, it's a bad thing. In the case of the Eyemore S1, though, it's so bad that it's actually entertaining. 

The pain came on like a sharp knife digging into my back. In a moment, years of lifting heavy lenses and avoiding exercise caught up with me and I couldn’t move.  A hospital visit and an MRI later, and it was discovered to be a bulging disc messing with a nerve. That meant no photography for a while and lots of physical therapy.

One of the features about Canon that I've always liked is that they offer f/1.2 lenses where most everyone else offers f/1.4. I am a bokeh junkie, so that extra little bit really does offer a different look to the background.
