How Good is DJI's Inspire 2?

How Good is DJI's Inspire 2?

The Inspire 2 came out a few months back and is a drone any aerial photographer would love to have because of it's portability, set up time, and overall quality compared to other high end drones on the market. I remember when this drone first came out and I was right by my computer to watch it be announced along with its little brother, the Phantom 4 Pro. I was blown away by the specs on the Inspire 2, however when both of these products came out, there was no video content to see aside from what DJI had produced because no one had access to these drones quite yet.

'Break Free' - A Film Student's Tear Jerking Advertisment for an Old Pair of Shoes

Flip on any TV right now, or go to your favorite YouTube Channel, and chances are you'll see a commercial for something tied to the sports or sports apparel world. It'll feature toned and muscular athletes doing extraordinary feats of skill, strength, or speed. In the advertisements, there will be lots of fancy CGI or advanced computer graphics, and other such stunning visuals used to help sell their products. However, one German film student, Eugen Merher, thought that maybe a simpler more heartfelt approach could sell the message even better.

Chase Jarvis Explains Why Creating and Sharing Your Photos Is Only Half the Work

In this episode of Chase Jarvis RAW, a fired up Jarvis goes off on a thoughtful stream of consciousness and details why so many photographers or filmmakers might not see the engagement they are looking for with their work. To him, it's because they likely stop working once the content has been created and shared, and they don't go on to interact with their community or audience. What's the trick to doing that? Check out the video for some very real suggestions on how.

'Destination DC' Is a Time-Lapse That Captures the Vibrancy and Life of America's Capital

We've all seen impressive time-lapses before, but what really caught my eye with "Destination DC" was its human element. Washington D.C. is undoubtedly a historic city full of sites that are primed for capture, but that in itself means it's a challenge to create something that rises above the countless images and videos we've seen before. "Destination DC" does just that.

A Little Inspiration Jumping Into the New Year

A Little Inspiration Jumping Into the New Year

I've been following Adam Krowitz on Instagram for some time now, and I saw him post this a while ago but it wasn't until last night that it really had me thinking and reflecting on the past year. The entire video was put together so well, the quote worked perfectly, and I was drawn into the video the whole time I was watching it. My favorite part of it all is the old man and how he is pretty much looking back and reflecting on his life. Thinking about all that has happened in 2016, this video was a huge inspiration to me and makes me look forward at what's to come in 2017.

The Trailer for the Holiday Movie 'Elf' Is Recut, Now It's a Creepy Thriller

Even if you're not much for holiday films, chances are you've seen the Will Ferrell movie, "Elf," that came out in 2003. It's a silly but fun tale of Buddy the Elf searching for his real father in New York City. The trailer seen here though, created by Cinefix, would have you believe that Buddy might just be an insane psychopath, spreading Christmas cheer in the form of violently stalking a person he believes to be his dad.

Video Editing Performance: Is the 2016 MacBook Pro Really Faster Than the Old One?

Right before the new MacBook Pro 2016 release, FStoppers published an article about the laptop's performance when working with 5K ProRes video footage. It wasn't clear what exact model was used, nor was it said what kind of tests were performed. Now, in the post-release era, we've had a chance to see how the new laptop performs against the older 2015 model in a display-by-display battle to help better evaluate whether or not it's actually worth buying.
