This was a shot for a turtle conservation/research group in Costa Rica. It wasn't staged, I was actually just running and crawling down the beach, following these hatchlings. I labored over editing this photo because I didn't think I ever got it right, but I am happiest with this version.

I'm not sure how to rate this one. It's a nice shot but I don't think it really belongs in this critique

This would be a lovely shot for a theme on Nature, or Sea, or Sand, or Wildlife, or Babies, or Stripes, or Texture... but "Style"?

this is true... I feel like style can be interpreted in a lot of different ways..., I had a specific goal/message that I stylised this photo to reflect, but I totally see ur point

I can definitely see what youre saying but in almost any case having a specific goal is needed for any photographer to actually make a photograph. If there is no specific goal then its just taking a pic like anyone else.
Having a specific goal doesn't mean that you shaped the image or styled it.
Pretty awesome image though.
