Down to the Wire

When old style or traditional Barbed Wired fences the posts and stays were wood. I pulled off this image by selecting a very shallow depth of field or selective focus area, for this close-up of a wooden stay and strand of barbed wire. I rendering the background to obscure shapes and tones. Any background detail would have competed with my chosen subject and theme of its isolation.
