You say bokeh, I say 200/2.0!

After a period of inactivity due to various reasons, I finally had some time to spend on the kingfishers. And when I saw the contest, I immediately planned a few sessions with my recently purchased Z9 and the Nikon 200/2.0, which produces such a wonderful images with great bokeh.

Normally when trying to shoot the kingfishers hunting it takes a lot of trial and error to get everything to my likings, but with a lot of experience with shooting hunting kingfishers, it was bingo on the second day.

I really liked this one with the droplets in the back- and foreground, the very shallow depth of field on the small bird (these kingfishers are not that much bigger than a house sparrow), thus creating very soft feathers of her wings.

Shot on the Nikon Z9 with a wired remote, with only natural light.
Lens used was my all-time favorite Nikon 200mm/f2.0G VR1 @2.8. To freeze the motion I used 1/3200sec, Manual mode, MF, auto ISO 2500.
Cropped to 5870x3914px.
