I'm an analog photographer and cinephile. I try to aim for cinematic photos and bokeh helps with that aesthetic. This photo was shot on my Yashica Electro 35 using Cinestill 800 (movie film that has been converted to photography film). This was shot 6 years ago, and he was the first model I worked with. The vignetting here is natural and not enhanced. I drove to his hometown to capture him in a familiar environment.
