I wanted to create something different, something striking, something that maintained a deep depth of field but from a distance and Thus I present to you the Brenizer method. So this image is actually 24 images stitched together to create a "panorama". My goal was to highlight my subject and capture her with great detail while also showcasing a unique location and the various depth that the angled walls of the castle present. Post processing this full-size image actually comes out to a staggering 272 megapixels. I added a flash solely on my subject with a 2x3 softbox using a godox v100 on HSS in order to raise my shutter speed to 1/640. I dropped my ISO to 100 to maintain low noise in the darker areas and used an f1.8 aperture to get the best quality sharpness on my subject out of this lens and to get that creamy blur in the foreground and the soft haze to the castle walls in the background. The low ISO was crucial as I am using a Canon R7 which is a crop sensor camera not great for low light scenarios. Another unique aspect of this whole composition is the lens which is a Sigma Art EF mount 85mm f1.4 aperture lens on a crop sensor camera. An absolute beast on this camera. It really takes advantage of the High MP count that this camera sensor offers while allowing great light in at the low Fstop! I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did creating it!!
