I saw this little guy on a piece of wood. I ran to get my Nikon D500 hoping he'd still be there. When I came back, he'd moved up on another piece of wood and looked at me as if to say, "I'm ready"! I took several photos with different adjustments varying the dof. This one was the best, as it's very shallow, but allows for detail. This was using natural light and post LR adjustments for contrast, cropping, and brightness. The lens is a Nikon 16-80 f2.8 of which it's not a macro lens.
