I spent two weeks in North Iceland photographing nesting birds. There were several birds in the Auk family (including the Atlantic Puffin) and this is a Razorbill hopping along a sea cliff rock outcropping. We wanted to shoot silhouettes and chose a location where the sun was setting into the ocean. This gave an incredible number of different images as the sun went down. Getting out to the location with camera gear over ruff volcanic terrain was not all that easy.
Sony A1, 200-600mm 2 6.3. Very little post processing was needed ; slight crop and noise reduction along with standard adjustments.
