We foster care and take on "older" dogs and this little poppet came to us as a mother and daughter pair. She is the mother. We discovered not long after she had a massive tumour that became terminal. We took her through palative care.

She was sitting on the opposite couch as I was playing with my new Tamron 24-70/2.8 G2 lens and I turned to face her and found her sitting up. Taken on a Nikon D500 with the Tamron lens

No special lighting. No editing, straight out the camera. Just shot in a series in the moment and this is one that has become locally famous amongst many of our circle of friends. And we now have this and a set from this series framed as a memory.
