An Eastern Kingbird hunts an evening snack from his perch on the pasture fence. There was no livestock using this pasture at the time so the grasses had grown and produced seed creating the ideal spot for bird watching for a few weeks. My Canon EF 100-400mm lens does a great job at transforming the distant landscape into a soft backdrop.
