Being new to FStoppers I have really dug through my old photos to find some interesting ones.
In July 2004 four (4) Canadair CL-215 Scoopers were stationed at the High Level Airport (YOJ) in northwestern Alberta Canada. These still had the older Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engines shoulder-mounted, newer aircraft have turboprop engines.
As I was standing on the edge of the apron a call came in to respond to a fire. I kept photographing as they prepared to depart and timed / captured a photo with the noses of 202 and 203 "coming together".
Pity that those years I had not yet learnt to shoot in raw, thus originally captured in jpeg.
