A close up of the beautiful Gollinger waterfall in Austria.

For a long time I was planning on shooting this waterfall by stepping into the river and taking a moody wideangle long exposure. But as most of the time, plans don't always work out that easily in landscape photography. On arrival I had to re-think how I was going to shoot it. The river was swollen with water coming from the melting ice on top of the mountains and the bright light didn't really allow "moody" either. On top of that I didn't really expect this waterfall to be so high that it didn't fit into my 24-70 mm lens.

In the end I took one of my so called Multiple Panoramic Exposures and this close up. The "MPE" has about 268 mp, this one 42 mp.
