That evening in the Swiss alps was definitely one to remember.
I started it by hiking along the massive Gornergrat glacier, then headed back to to the Riffelsee to shoot pre-sunset, and afterwards, on my way back down to Zermatt, I took this photograph. When I saw the cloud being lit in the shape of the South American continent it felt like a "calling". Since first seeing photographs of the Patagonian mountains, I wanted to see this incredible place for myself - and maybe, just maybe, I will visit it some day.
For now I’m happy to have had the opportunity to experience Switzerland - and even though I always dream of other places around the world, hiking and just being out there, in nature, is the only thing that really matters to me. Iceland has some of the most diverse landscapes, true. France has some very beautiful cities and even more stunning „mountainscapes“, also true. Switzerland is a paradise for hiking, again true. But Austria, what a beauty, has it all too.
