Of Wet Roots and Stones

Today I bring you another place well known by photographers and nature lovers from this area and beyond.
I wanted a new composition, with a powerful foreground and textures...so I located those wet roots, intertwined with old rocks and forming small puddles where the oak leaves floated adrift.

I had to juggle setting the tripod and keeping the camera where Ii should be. In fact, thanks to the help of my girlfriend, who held one of the tripod legs to prevent it from falling, I achieved the desired composition.

A spontaneous and fleeting outing that gave us some great captures and moments!
