The photo was taken in Finnish Lapland, quite close to the Arctic Circle. The camera was an OM-1, the lens was M.Zuiko 300 mm F4 with TC 1.4, ISO 1000, F5.6, 1/640 s. The sun was still illuminating the pine forest in the background.
