Using glitter was a challenge in the studio, especially the cleanup. The stuff gets everywhere. It's like the Herpes of the craft world so never again... lol

Multiple attempts were made for this image. We used a 48" gridded Paul Buff octabox powered with an Alien B800, a Canon 5diii and the old 24-70 f2.8 version 1. I used a radio popper trigger and receiver for quick adjustments on the old Alien Bee.

Kiki was a trooper and mentioned that the glitter did not taste as good as it looked. The old 24-70 f2.8 has been one of my all time favorite lenses and it's been a real workhorse. One may think that this was shot wide open but it was set at f7.1, ISO 100,1/160 sec.
