Coming Ashore

On a cruise around South America we stopped in Port Stanley on the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) and did a separate excursion to the King Penguin colony at Volunteer Point in the very northeast of East Falkland.

In the same area were Magellanic Penguins that made their burrows at the edge of the beach. These two had just stepped out of the ocean and were making their way up the beach to their burrows.
