McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II is a single-engine ground-attack aircraft that constitutes the second generation of the Harrier family, capable of vertical or short takeoff and landing.

This one is in a full hover and slowly rotating through 360 degrees at the MCAS Miramar Airshow.

Are! An aircraft invented in my own country, Britain, and first flown by the RAF until our idiot government stopped it's upgrading and sold it to the Americans who recognized its potential.
