We spotted this mother and her twin cubs east of Churchill, MB. They were moving west towards the edge of town close to the shore.
This photo is taken as she and her cubs walked up and over the large rock expanse close to town. We never saw them again. Heard later that they swam across the Churchill River and making their way further north along Hudson Bay, looking for and waiting for sea ice.
