Dayagama is one of my favorite locations, and I have visited this beautiful place several times. Each visit gives me a different opportunity to observe the landscape and find a new way to frame it.
This photograph was captured during a period when the water level in the stream was very low. Rather than waiting for a stronger flow, I wanted to explore the shapes and patterns created by the small amount of water moving through the rocks.
I always enjoy trying to capture the relationship between water, rocks, light, and the surrounding nature searching for a composition where these elements come together naturally.
Every visit to the same place is another opportunity to see it differently and create a better frame.
