Horton Plains is a place where landscape photography feels completely connected to nature. Every part of the plains offers a different composition, and there are countless possibilities for creating unique frames.
The biggest challenge is often time. The season, weather, and changing conditions can completely transform the landscape. Rain, mist, clouds, and changing light are frequent visitors here, and each condition creates a different mood.
What I love most about Horton Plains is that you don't necessarily need to search for a specific viewpoint. Beautiful frames can be found almost anywhere.
You can return to the same place many times and still discover something new a different layer of mist, a new pattern in the landscape, or simply a moment when the light comes together perfectly.
