Koggala Beach is one of my favorite places in Sri Lanka to experience the beauty of sunset. The colors here can be incredibly unique, changing from warm golden tones to deeper shades as the sun disappears beyond the horizon.
This photograph was captured just after sunset, when the direct sunlight was already gone. Yet, the remaining light created a soft and beautifully balanced atmosphere across the beach.
For me, this is one of the most beautiful moments to photograph the few minutes after sunset when the sky and landscape are still holding onto the last light of the day.
Sometimes, the best light appears after the sun has disappeared.
