Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Grow

Top 10 WeeklyFstop Photos: Grow

To grow as a photographer you have to get out there and challenge yourself. Consider joining in on the weeklyFstop as a great way to try new things and enhance your photography skills.

To live is to grow, if not by size, then in wisdom and experience. Being a dad with two boys, when I think of growing I think of them. The way time flies by as they become more and more independent reminds me to cherish every moment. I may get accused of always having my camera out, but having photos of them each step along the way is priceless.

This week's participants all brought their own interpretation of grow and once again delivered a quality top 10 list. I hope you enjoy.

I love the power stance this chick is sporting. Also, the dramatic lighting and simplicity of the scene won me over. Great work, Smith.

Love it that I got first place but my name is Mike Smith, not Stephen Holst...!

Yes, so it is. Well this is awkward. Does this mean you won't be wanting the "Holst" lettered jersey you've won?
Just kidding. My sincere apologies, Mike! And congrats again. :)

No worries Michael - to be honest, I am still reeling from the surprise - but now moving onto portraits - going to be more difficult to stand out from the crowd me thinks...

Excellent, thank you! Can't get enough of #weeklyfstop!

Thanks, Alan!

Thank you!

What a good news to made it to top 10 again.

Bad news, i just got robbed yesterday, and my camera is gone. Hopefully i can afford a new camera..

That is ridiculous! I hope you get your gear back and soon.

Thank you, so glad to make it in the top 10! Also, I really dig Mike Schultz macro snake shot. Good stuff this week!

Glad you enjoyed! I also dug that snake shot. It also could have been the top spot.
