The sun breaks through stormy skies at sunset at Muley Point in southern Utah. While nearby Horseshoe State Park gets all the attention, there are plenty of grand vistas to be had along the San Juan river bends.
Photographer's confession: I wish I had noticed the little rock right at the junction of the road and the split in the sandstone deck. Wouldn't it have been nice for the road to disappear right into the dark of the cleft? Oh, for the things we miss when captivated breathless at the sight of so much glory in the sky!
