Coastal Confluence

I had spent little time exploring the southern Oregon coast until this last year, when we had several opportunities to camp our way south to Mendocino, California, and back again. During one of those trips we stopped at Harris Beach State Park. Normally the southern coast of Oregon is shrouded in fog or rain, so we were happy to have clear skies and pleasant weather for our stay. In this image I caught the last rays of the sun before they disappeared below the horizon, with the fading light reflecting off the stream contrasting with the silhouettes of the rocky shoreline..
