Leaving Rosario

In 2016 we spent 8 weeks car camping Baja California. Two of us, a 105 lb mastiff mix, and gear all stuffed into a little Subaru Outback. We had the time of our lives, and our 10 year old dog was the life of the party. Every time we stopped at a military checkpoint (and there were many!) the soldiers would see the "tigre" and ask if he was going to bite. More often than not, we were simply ushered on our way. For that and other reasons, our "Chaz" turned out to be such a wonderful traveling companion--and for years prior, consumed by work and kids and what-not, we had no idea. How wonderful it was to spend those weeks just relaxing on the beach, stopping when we pleased, moving on whenever we got the urge for a new horizon. Car camping with your favorite fur-person is a special treat.
