For sure my most favorite place in the lower 48 states. There is a cirque of lakes that have been cut out, first by glaciers then by erosion, over centuries of time. There are many lakes in this particular cirque, and in years of hiking here I haven't seen all of them. Toyo 45A camera, 65mm Sinaron lens, #21 Dark Orange filter, Kodak T-Max 100 film. Here we are, not even summer yet and I am ready for late fall. Summer is my least favorite season.
