Newspaper Rock, Utah

My wife and I had spent a few days in the mountains of Utah, above Salt Lake City, and drove through a very beautiful area of Redrock structures in southern Utah when I found this, "Newspaper Rock". These petroglyphs are so interesting, and I wish I knew what they were saying. Probably something like "Bob was here", or "for a good time call...". Who knows. Brings to mind a funny incident that occurred in Zion National Park. I was hiking up a dry river bed, and having just parked my truck I was still close, too close, to the highway. A man yelled at me from the road asking if I had "seen any of them pyroglyphics? Nope Bob, ain't seen no rocks on fire. Funny things that happen.
