I was with a buddy down in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. We had been hiking in the mountains for a couple of days and decided to go to a place I knew for sunset photographs of El Capitan. It isn't the tallest mountain in Texas, that would be Guadalupe Peak, just to the right of El Cap. There is a small surprise under one of the foreground boulders. Canon 6D camera, 17-40L lens. BTW, this is a composite of a couple of photographs, however everything in it could be, it just wasn't at that moment. Photoshop is a marvelous tool, it allows us to make the image we see in our minds eye. Not that we couldn't, and didn't with film. It just makes it a lot more convenient.
