Today, I'm sharing a photo from the iconic Cliffs of Papel in Mariña Lucense. This shot has been waiting on my hard drive for a while, captured during an outing in May, taking advantage of the last light of sunset. From this same spot and almost the same composition, I've already shared versions taken with the Irix 15mm and the Irix 21mm, so now it's time to upload the wider version with the Irix 11mm.
I enjoy observing the differences that the change of lens produces in a more or less similar composition. In this specific case, the inability to use a polarizing filter with the 11mm lens results in noticeable variations in tones and colors. Additionally, this photo was taken just after the sun had dipped below the horizon, making the sky tones more diffuse and the light softer.

Super interesting rock face. On one hand it's so strange looking that it feels like it's the subject itself but on the other hand I kind of want the camera raised up over it just a bit to see the water down below. Beautiful location!

This photograph is part of a collection I took using different lenses and focal lengths to see how they would work with a "similar" composition. I also prefer the version with a bit more water below and the tightrope-walker rock more prominently featured, which I captured with other compositions!
