1.67 - "Needs Work"

This was an indigenous Micmak ceremony on Gros Morne Mountain in Newfoundland, Canada. I accepted this elopement about a year in advance knowing full well, that the current state of my fitness wasn't close to what was needed to complete the job. I was determined not to let my clients down. Over a year, I radically changed my relationship with health and fitness, dropping from 250lbs to 180lbs. Despite being 10+ years older than anyone else on the hike I completed the 8-hour, 27km mountain trek. It may not win me any awards, but this shoot changed my life and for that, I will always cherish it.
