In 2022 I finished my studies and as a reward I traveled through Germany and visited some friends. As the location was on my bucket list for a long time and a supermoon was promised, I took the chance and booked a little apartment at the Saxon Switzerland. I hiked about 20 km to check all the places. And found a spot with a beautiful view on the Bastei bridge. So, in the evening I hiked another 5 km to the spot and positioned my tripod. As the region is very dark and there are no lights to brighten up the bridge I had to calculate where to moon is going to rise between the rocks. I took the images of the foreground during the sunset and then I waited about 1 and a half hours until the moon appeared on the horizon. The calculation with the help of the PhotoPills app was spot on and I took the image of the beautiful moon and the golden and red sky.
After the shoot my adrenaline level was up and the last 5 km of that day were no problem at all.

That was a lot of ... leg work ... to get this shot
Great photo. The only thought I have is the warm color of the sky seems a bit incongruent with the cooler tones throughout the rest of the image, especially the distant mountains. Consider adding a bit of yellow, which would take the mountains slightly more green than blue, as well as neutralized the color of the bridge and rocks. If you like the cooler tones of the bridge, I'd at least work on the mountains. It's the transition from blue to orange near the moon that looks off to me.
Thank you for the comment and the suggestion for improvement. I will definitely take another look at the editing of the image and test your suggestions.
