The Angel Oak in Charleston, SC. Many have shot this tree; here is mine. The tree is surrounded with bright yellow barriers, many information placards, a chain link fence in back of the tree, and a clear view of the parking lot. And there were 10 people wandering about in the frame. Had to get a reasonable pic and then begin a painstaking time to remove all the distractions. Then darkened the trunk and limbs. I wanted the limbs to look like veins. Then emphasized the greens and yellows to accentuate the forest feel.
