Common swift (apus apus) is the fastest bird of the world (in horizontal flight). It is also the bird that may keep flying months without landing. Additionally is extremely agile. Just taking a sharp photo of this bird is quite difficult, but I wanted to have it in the picture together with a view of the skyscrapers of Warsaw. I used a Minolta 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, stopped 1EV down to f/4, in manual focus mode (AF in the Sony A580 had no chance of hitting it). It "cost" many days of standing on the roof of a building in the summer sun and about several thousand shutter clicks, but it finally worked.
