I spotted the pair of young kestrels (Falco tinnunculus) sitting at the telecom antenna just from the window (with 10x50 binocular). I wanted to take a photo, however the distance from my balcony was 102 meters (according to Google Maps). As I do not have such a long telelens I took the amateur astronomic telescope Sky Watcher 90/900 (that can be treated as a 900mm f/10 prime lens). As I used Sony A580 camera, this is equivalent of 1350mm tele. Of course with no autofocus. As f/10 is really slow (and the day was cloudy) the shutter time was 1/30s. However, I still managed to do a sharp photo. As this telescope is a simple Fraunhofer refractor (that is just an achromatic doublet made of two lenses) the best way to deal with huge chromatic aberration was just converting it to B&W.
