In 1985, my client, Splash! Swimwear, wanted to show five swimsuits in her first magazine ad, but could not afford five models at swimwear rate or retouching. So, remembering an Andreas Feininger multiple exposure picture made with an 8x10 view camera. So, we hired oned model and I set up a 4x5 view camera with vertical slit in front of the lens and the back shifted all the way to the right and shot 20 sheets of film on the first suit. Then the model changed to a different suit, I shifted the back 1/5 of the way to the left, and photographed the second suit on the same 20 sheets of film. We repeated the process for all five swimsuits. This was the pick of the 20 shots.
