2.22 - "Needs Work"

This image was from an advertorial fashion feature in Façon - an Australian fashion magazine. It was shot on a Sony A7R using a Sony 24-105 F4 G lens.

The initial colour and exposure correction and balancing was done in Adobe Lightroom and light retouching was completed by a retouch artist in Adobe Photoshop.

This image was difficult because of the location and I had exactly 12 minutes to get the shot. The airport administration had allowed us one short opportunity to shoot.

Firstly, because of airport security our team had to go through a full customs check. Then we had been allocated a 12 minute slot between passengers disembarking and the the plane being prepped for it's next flight.

In that 12 minutes we had to get the models in position to do a short walk away from the plane, set up lighting and exposure as we were shooting into the early morning sun, a final hair and makeup touch up and then shoot the image.

The models only had time to do two attempts at walking to capture the image.
