This shot is at Botany Bay in Edisto SC. Most shots of this beach are at sunrise or sunset. The lighting that day was harsh and any photo I tool in the sun's direction were very dark. Photoshop brought up the depth of the picture. Some of the branches left the shot, so I trimmed them. The clouds and partial fog were uninviting so I replaced the sky with a thunderstorm. That added drama. Then I noticed the man running on the beach. I asked myself, 'why is he running'? A lightening strike made the most sense. So I used a lightening brush to add another level to this confusing shot.
